2022 Lexus NX 350h
Hello all,
I am interested in buying this model. I am wondering if any owner can let me know the real life mpg. Some testers disappointed with mpg. Consider the current gas cost, if this vehicle can delivery any where near RAV4 hybrid, I will be down for it. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, rdgrimes. That's what I assumed. However, some of the testers got much lower mpg compared to the RAV4 hybrid. I am not sure if that is because of the winter weather, or it is simply the vehicle was brand new. I want to see the actual owner's mpg before making the decision.
I'm at an average of 45mpg with an almost 50/50 mix of city/highway. I don't push the car hard, keep it in eco mode, and am in temperatures in the 70-80s.
I've also ran the car multiple times in a 5-mile quick trip and gotten 50-60mpg trip average. The car went into EV mode (not the self-selected option) about 60% of the time.

Stating the obvious but it depends where you drive it and, probably more importantly, how you drive it. We've had ours for 9 days and, other than the 75 mile trip home from the dealer, all of our driving has been entirely "city" driving with speeds rarely exceeding 35 mph and making a conscious effort to drive with a light foot. I will have better numbers in a week or two as we just put fuel in it for the first time ourselves and I reset all the meters. But we are currently seeing numbers in the high 40's for mpg. I discounted the initial numbers because I am not confident the dealer actually filled it up completely and because of the non-typical (for us) highway drive to bring it home. I will say that the numbers I was seeing were not in align with the amount of fuel I put in it but I don't even know for sure that all the meters were set/reset just before delivery.

Also has more horsepower (239) than the Rav4H. Car is about 1 month old and total average (winter) mpg is 39. I am not disappointed in this number.
I was wondering if the MPG will increase as the car ages. My new RX 450h is only giving me 25.5 mpg when the manufacturer says it should be between 28-31. Does the mileage get better as the car is broken in?

Winter blend gasoline drops your mpg and cold weather also has a greater impact on hybrids.

Incorrect. The NX 350h has an all new engine producing 186 hp by itself compared to the Rav4's 176 hp, and borrows the hybrid battery system from the current gen Highlander Hybrid to produce a total system hp of 240. Also recommends premium gas while the Rav4 will happily sip on regular.
