Anyone out there get any quotes on trade-in values for the 450h? Mine is a 2013 model but doesn't really matter what year yours is..... just wondering if the trade-in values have really gone up since the pandemic started..... I might just take advantage of it and swap it out for something newer......

 

The tide effects all boats in the harbor. Only reason you will get more money is the old supply and demand. The break from the norm happens when a certain make model becomes much sought after [Supra]. I don't think the 450RX has that sort of appeal.

The thing that can make a difference is you sell a more desirable make/model and purchase a less desirable make/model. I would not suggest that.

Enough rambling, but yes you can get more money for your RX, but check availability and price of the replacement before handing over the keys of your current RX. I have heard dealers are asking above MSRP and some don't even have a supply.

@MellonC00 I traded in my 2011 RX450h AWD Premium Pkg for $12,500 back in December. Had 112,000 miles and was in average condition. Between Shift, Carvana, Carmax, etc the highest offer I got was $12,000. Local GMC dealer I ended up trading it in at matched my highest offer + $500.

@salimshah I hope this bursts soon! I'm looking for a 2007 GS350 RWD and don't want to spend more than $7,000. Should've picked one up in 2020 when they were cheap. Oh well, I can wait I guess.
