Default How to keep the gas engine running ?

Hi,
Replacing my coolant and want to run the engine to burp the coolant while refilling, so I want to keep the gas engine running. I've searched the internets and the only thing I see is on the non-keyed push button start models. I don't see any posts here , either , which address that.

I have an 07 RX 400h which uses the key to start.

I know I can run the heater, etc to maximize engine running time, but is there some secret sequence to use if I want the gas engine to stay on ?

TIA

Thanks. Didn't want to make a family member sit in the car while I dribbled the rest of the coolant in the radiator, so I did the old standby, fan on high, temp to the highest setting , A/C on, lights on. I'll try your suggestion next time, tho.
