Am not sure how many of u experience the brake actuator buzzing issue.
mine gets really loud, after replacing the actuator, it go back to normal. But still can hear it a little, and when the sound appears, you can actually feels some vibration on the brake pedal.
it can be simulated easily with the car in "P" and you just need to depress the brake pedal over n over again.

So your car was within the battery warranty period of 8 years OR 100,000 miles (your vehicle's mileage was just at the limit). I wonder if they would have covered it if you had even more miles or your vehicle was past 8 years old.
Anyway, this is great information to know.
