ES300h beep/whistle/tweet after shutdown
I have a new car with 2k miles and when I arrived home today after 45 minutes at mostly highway speed, the was an irregular soft beep from under the hood. I only noticed it after I got out - 3 or 4 beeps 1/2 second apart followed by 5-15 seconds of quiet. This repeated for at least 2 minutes. I popped the hood but by then the noise had stopped.
Any ideas?

It could be the water pump, AC compressor or the brake pump. The ES300h makes a lot of little whirrs and whines, stuff you normally can't hear on a normal car with the engine on.

As a 300h owner you will learn to ignore these. The brake booster is on an electric vacuum pump on the 300h. Most other cars simply get the vacuum off the intake manifold.
