Cargo space: NX300h vs ES300h?
Square footage stats mean little when comparing two cars - does anyone have experience, or at least an educated guess, with these 2 vehicles? I need a little more space than comes in an ES300h but a new RX450h is out of rea$h. I was starting to look at Certified Rx’s but it occurred to me that I shouldn’t overlook an NX.
Cubic feet. It's cubic feet. As you can lower rear backrests and have higher roof, you have more cargo space in NX. Also, you can fit longer objects.
15.2 cf vs NX offers 18 cubic feet of storage space and 55 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. Over 3 times that of ES
If you REALLY need cargo volume, get Highlander. Boy or boy, did I fit stuff into it.

It’s sort of cubic feel but my ES will take 4 carry on bags and if you increased each dimension by 8 inches it would still take 4. If you shunk 2 of them a few inches it would take...4.
My old Honda has an oddly shaped cutout that only takes mushed papertowls but I’m sure is included in the calculation.
I’m wondering if anyone has experience with both cars and can say that his ____ can take a few more bags of groceries. Or my golf clubs fit in both but there isn’t room for anything else in my _____.
