Thanks, I will see if I can take out the cup holder without doing all the other stuff. At 5:29 in the clip I did not see any electronics,under where the cuo holder is located, but I wonder if the cup holder underneath could be sealed. Seems like more than what was desribed as the problem was going on.

I saw that too -- but the model shown is a bit different in design than my 2018 F-Sport, which has the cup holders to the right of the shift lever, so I'm not sure how close this is to the OP or your model interior.

Yes, I have a 2018, and even though I am not Charles Atlas, I could not just pull it up and out. The RX must install differently although the hold looks to be installed on top of the console.
