Apologies if this has been answered before. I could not find it in my searches. I am looking at a 2015 450 H and have test driven several. There are not that many on the market but the one I liked had 25 Thousand miles, which at $34,000 seemed a good price. The trouble is the steering. It seems out of alignment and I feel like I have to fight it a bit to get it to go straight and smooth. Is this a normal trait of The hybrids? Does anyone have experience with 2015's? I've asked questions about the certified preowned and what is checked, however when I have them open the hood and Pop all the plastic off there seem to be a lot more corrosion and usage than I thought should be there. This could be normal but every time I asked if this particular heart the steering column had been checked I was told yes except that no one could identify the mechanic who might've checked it. Am I being too sensitive or does this seem like they are hiding something?
The other question is about getting the extended warranty. This car is the certified preowned and I was looking at the extended warranty that the dealer offered which was for $3200. It was simply for three years and 100,000 miles which seemed extremely expensive. The dealer claims that this was the warranty that comes with a brand new Lexus. Any opinions on this? I've heard extended warranties can be purchased elsewhere and have read the thread but the last posts are from 2012.
thanks in advance for any answers or advice

Wether it is a go-cart, regular, electric or hybrid .. the steering should not be crooked and the driver should not need to apply force to keep it going straight.
If Lexus is selling CPO then ask for the check list signed off by the mechanic. Mistakes can happen when the used car sales person gets out of sync with the service folks.
1. you have electric steering. Something is not right. I'd have been VERY hesitant to buy a car for $34K with ANY SLIGHTEST blemishes, least to say, crooked steering.
2. Lexus gives 50 000 or 5 yrs bumper to bumper and 7 yrs or 100 000 miles, whatever comes first, power train warranty. For 2015 you should still be under factory warranty. I just bought 2015 NX200 and I have years and miles left on it.
My gut tells me it was wracked and rebuilt and sold hush hush. Simple example. I just sold my 2012 HiHy to a local Toyota dealer, who gave me very good price for it. Car was in front end collision and had complete bumper, radiator, radiator mount, grill, fascia, headlight and inverter replaced. By reputable shop, yet still...Carfax shows as "minor collision air bags not deployed" and they are already selling it without even a word about accident.
I'd have been VERY cautious. it's either prefect or none.
