Xtra curtains in rear?
What are these extra curtains in rear for. They attach to the front of the bar and hang down with fastex male buckles. Can't see anything they attach to.

FYI -- this isn't specific to the 400h so you might get faster/more responses posting such topics in the general 2nd Gen subforum,
They clip to the headrest posts to cover the space between the bar and the seats. Since the seats are adjustable, it's possible to have more or less space between the bar and seats which is why the cover is designed this way. Not sure why or how you seem to have them pointing towards the back. I can't recall anything that would support them in the position in the photo but they should be towards the front.
Page 285 of the 2008 400h manual covers this. I think I've mentioned this in another of your threads but if you don't have your manual you can get an electronic copy from the Lexus Drivers site.

It appears that you have the cover installed backwards or upside down. takeshi74 is correct,
the clips attach to the back seat head restraint struts to hold the extra cargo cover flap over
the gap behind the seats. BTW later years of the RX deleted that dangling flap as it was tough
to engage. You can slice them off with a straight edge razor and continue to use the extended
roll which is how it is set up now.
