Default Looking at a GS 450 hybrid F Sport

I'm coming from a 2006 LS 430 with sport suspension in a modern luxury package. Anybody else go from something similar to that to a GS hybrid? I'm trying to get an idea of whether or not I'm going to be satisfied with the GS 450 hybrid or not? It's a 2016 model I'm looking at.

Thanks,
Randy B

It depends what you're looking for? If you want a bit more sportiness in power and suspension then the GS450h will be an upgrade.

But if you want a cushy ride and large comfortable seating, then a GS can't beat a LS.

My 2 cents.
1. The 450h is a pretty rare vehicle in that the package you mostly find is Fsport and most of those are basically loaded. So, while the 350 has a lot more variety and the amenities are all over the place, there is a lot more consistency in the 4GSs around the country. The ones I've encountered all pretty much resembled each other (HUD, RWS, Trip-HID, ML, LKA, Prox Radar, etc).
2. I've driven a host of 350s and my a couple 450s, and hands down like the 450h better. That's me though. I'm ok with CVT and the different response that the hybrid system delivers overall. Some don't. My recommendation is to go drive what you can get yourself into. Test, test, test. Anything less is a leap of faith and could lead you to buyers remorse.
3. I just don't think you'll go wrong settling into a 2016 450h. If it's got improvements (I'm not sure how they could improve it) other than body panel styling and small amenities, different dash layout, etc.

Best of luck!

Sal
