Almost 2 years ago when I got my Ls460, saw a 08 Ls600h at the same dealership parked on the side. They said it wasn't for sale...anyway about a month later it shows up on their website for sale dirt cheap (~$24k, with 123k miles). With a new battery. Dealer claims they paid ~$7k for the new battery.

Not to scare you off as hybrid has come a long way, but it does happen. One heck of a ride though...I keep on looking for one here in the Dallas area and haven't found one close enough for me to even test drive, much less consider.

I like the idea of one but I prefer the Sport models.

There's a 2008 Launch Edition LS600hl for sale on Ebay right now in California - I know the owner :-)

If you are not a handy man, air struts , battery... it is too risky. Better buy a gas 460 and wait for pure electric car technology getting more mature
