450h Fsport gauge start up
I wanted to know what the default setting is when you start the car. Most videos that I have seen it looks like it starts up in eco. Can you confirm this? Also is there an option/customize it so it starts up like a 350 fsport standard gauge?
Ill let you know as I just got mine today.
Ill let you know as I just got mine today. For starters, it starts up in normal/customize mode.
There are two display modes: the hybrid gauge and the tachometer.
By default, the 450h is in "intelligent" mode, and displays the hybrid gauge (charge/eco/power) when in Eco or Normal mode, and displays a tachometer when the car is in Sport or Sport+ mode. The car remembers what mode you turn it off in, and starts up in the same mode. Mine came in "normal" mode.
However, it's super easy to configure. I set mine to always display the tachometer, and changed my HUD to always display the hybrid info. You can also set the needle color for the tachometer to white, red, or blue-white gradient (default).
It's also worth nothing that in standard and eco mode, the tachometer has a black ring around it (where the markings are); in sport and Sport+ it's a white ring. I actually prefer the black ring. Also, it's worth noting that there's no smart mode for the HUD. You have to pick either the Tach or the Hybrid info, and the system won't change it for you when you change car modes.

Not my pictures. But these are accurate.
Sport mode (the white ring is inverted to black when it's set to tachometer for non-sports modes) -

Hybrid info -

The display on the left is pretty configurable.

Thanks for the info. It good to know that the default is not eco. I have been struggling what model to go with. It will be an Fsport but not sure if it with be a 450 or 350. Not sure if cvt or 8sp will be better.

the Hybrid does not offer any statsitical performance upgrade since the vehicle is heavier but, off the line acceleration from light light is nice but is still pegged at the gasolines only 0-60 time.
Either should be fine. I had to test drive the 350 F-Sport since nobody has the 450h F-Sport in stock by me. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth the shifting was.
off the line is great with the instant torque.
Only had the car for 2 days but for me it doesn't stay in the last mode driven. It always reverts back to default which is normal/custom mode. Thankfully you can customize this normal mode.
