2011 RX450h OEM 12V battery capacity.
Do OEM batteries for rx450hs have a lower capacity, cold cranking amps, or ampere hours? Due to a snafu I put one in my toyota crown (4gr-fse engine, same engine in an is250) and it's gone flat on me twice now. I heard the high capacity 330v batteries crank the engine in rx450hs so I'm thinking the 12v battery doesn't need to be as powerful and that's why it's going flat easy in my car. If the battery is already rated for a lower capacity I'll just swap the batteries again but if the battery is powerful enough to work in a gasoline only car I guess I'll get a new battery.

I don't know the specific rating of the battery, but what you said is true, the 12V battery is not used to crank the engine. It is only used to power the electrical systems. It is probably not a good choice for starting a conventional car.
