I have to leave my 400H in the garage starting mid May for about 8 weeks. Should I have someone come and drive it while I'm gone or do you think it will be OK to leave for that long. About 2 months ago I replaced the 12 volt battery as the old one died.
I would attach a battery tender or some type of charger to keep the 12V battery from draining. Any maybe inflate the tires to around 40 PSI to avoid flat spots.

I think 8 weeks is not a huge problem and not consider it as storage. There is a slight chance you might need to jump it when you get back and reprogram stuff. I read other users that stored it 2-3 months might need a jump. I don't think there will be any damage to the battery because if it had a "dead battery" it would not be in that state for long. At 3-6 months storage I might consider a battery tender or pulling the battery terminal. at 6 month to 12 I would definitely do something for the battery. I would also inflate the tire and gasoline treatments.
id also consider stuffing the tailpipe and putting some mice traps or boxes of D-Con in and around the car to prevent critters from making nests or chewing wires.

Where I live in Arizona so far that has not been a problem.

lucky, i've had several coworkers experience rodent problems with their cars when i was in Scottsdale and Phoenix for 10 years. They think it was attributed to the roof rats during lemon and grapefruit season. Something was making nests and chomping wires.
