. . .there is a '14 for sale on CarMax.com. Haven't seen a new gen model h on CarMax in quite some time. Looks like it is in Wisconsin. Black on black with 8K on the odometer. Bet that won't be there long!

Looks like someone finally pounced on that GSh. Lets see if whoever it was shows up here to join us! It was optioned weird in my opinion. But there is a ride out there for everyone!

On AutoTrader I see 5 used 2013 GSh's from $41,900 to $55,980. No used 2014. There are 2 new 2014 GSh and 12 new 2013 GSh's. I bet you can get a real good deal on the 13's. I guess the small number is the reason I haven't seen another in the flesh.

Yep. I was sort of surprised to see a '14 out there on Carmax. I think it stayed there a little longer due to the weird way it was optioned. These GSh's are sort of like limited edition vehicles due to the low production numbers. It took some time to see pre-owned '13 GSh's show up for sale. Will probably be the same for '14's.

Interesting. In December last year, during the December to Remember event, there were probably a dozen 2013 GS 450h's in the D.C. area at steep discounts. Now it seems like there aren't that many in the country. Does anyone see a repeat of last December when these wonderful cars start showing up again as part of the end of year clearance?

No I don't. I bought my 2013 in Jan 2014 and the build date was around Aug 2012 so it sat on the dealers lot for a year and a half. I believe this is the case with all the 2013's still around so now the dealerships are only special ordering them. Try to find a 2014 GSh on the lots. Few and far between.

Agree Tom450. I was at my dealership getting my wife's IS serviced last week and ran into my sales guy. I asked if he had a '14 on the lot I could take out for a drive. He said no, and that they don't even get the hybrid GS allocated to them. The GS hybrid is considered a special order these days. It's a unique and limited car is what he said.

You guys that took advantage of the "December to Remember" event are dam lucky.

I'm having a tough time finding used 2013 or even new 2014 models that are fully loaded (or close to it). I want to have the luxury package and can hardly come across any vehicles that have it.

It sucks that Lexus isn't producing them and people are having to "special order" them. I figure that will be case with the upcoming 2015 GS450h F-Sport sold here in North America.

If any of you 2013 or 2014 model owners decide to sell your car in the next year, please keep me in mind

I hear you. I got very lucky when I found my car. I troll Carmax daily, even though I am not really looking for anything. Back in January, my car showed up there. I jumped right on it. Had it shipped to me from California. Car was in very good shape. Only issues were on the interior (not cleaned properly by Carmax). The miles were in the range I could accept and it still had plenty of warranty left. I had the VIN number run by Lexus and of course had the somewhat useful Carfax report. Everything checked out. Some 8 months later, I couldn't be happier. Came out of a '10 GSh. It is like night and day the difference.

I remember back in late winter, it was easy to find 15 to 20 450h's on cars.com. Now there is just 5. I guess folks are holding on to them when they get them. Just this morning saw a black '13 450h w/luxury on Carmax. But this afternoon it is gone. You have to be quick. People reserve/move those cars around and then don't buy the car. Who knows, maybe it will show back up again. May be worth a look.
