My Lexus warranty is expiring and wanted to see if you guys had any suggestions on stuff i should replace or things to ask for before my warranty expires. 2007 450h with 97k

Wow, no replies. Right now I'm at 70k, but I'm thinking that the best thing would be to replace the whole hybrid battery because if it fails it's $5,000. But I don't know how you'll b able to get 1.....
Would love for someone with experience to comment.

 

Lexus won't change it unless you get the "check hybrid system" I had mine changed but I think what caused them to go bad was the batteries say drained out for almost a month without recharging. Me personally when I get into the high 90's I'm going to consider purchasing extended warranty.

 

I read some guy left his in neutral while going through a car wash and his "check hybrid battery" came on. I would most def want my changed out if it was going out of warranty. Luckily mine was changed out before I bought my car.

 

good luck a mile over 100K and Lexus wont warranty the hybrid components.

30k more miles i am thinking of changing cars once it reach 99k...

sigh up till now i don't see any cars can replace my GSh...

i been looking at the 2012 Audi A7 3.0t since the insurance is cheaper to insur compare to my 2007 GS (sound BS but is a fact) but don't want anymore european cars headache

the 2013 GS just don't appeal to me..... yet, unless is a 2014 LS, but way beyond my budget

love the new CLS too, but still.. 1 year CPO warranty is a big risk
