Default 2008 RX400h Water pump gone

Can somebody knowledgeable suggest what other repairs should be done at the same time to avoid extra labor charges. Such as drive belt, timing belt, tentioner pullys et. etc..

Welcome to Club Lexus. The water pump would be covered under the Lexus drive train warranty. 72 months or 70K miles. Does your vehicle qualify?

If the water pump failed and leaked antifreeze than I would highly suggest the timing belt to be changed. A antifreeze soaked belt would be bad news. Note: the timing belt drives the water pump. Now for the other question there are two waterpumps in the RX400h, the other one cools the inverter but is not mounted on the engine....Hopefully yours is the engine coolant waterpump.

Thank you for your excellent suggestion.
I had the water pump replaced under the warranty and at the same time they replaced the timing belt as well. I am gratefull for your advice.
