Hi. I am about to puchase a Lexus 400h. Before deciding on this vehicle, I researched the Toyota Highlander. I found that alot of people found the electric steering to be problematic.

I also know that the 400h had electric steering. Is it the same type?
Should I be worried about this type of steering. Thoughts?

Anything else I should know? ( do I just get in it and drive until I read the manual?)

 

Almost all modern cars have electronic steering in some form. I've never had a problem with mine. Toyota/Lexus hybrids have excellent reliability records.
