Default Key shell

Hey guys ,

I was thinking about changing my key shell to blue my key perfectly functional I had a question if I bought this item and had the key cut to my code and change only the remote( the actual internal with the three buttons ) will I still need programming. My actual question is, is the chip molded in to my old key housing ?

The electronics are easily removed from your old key and can be transferred to your newly cut key. No reprogramming is needed. The only time you need reprogramming is if a new transmitter is introduced to your vehicle.
