1) First, right at the intersection of the back seats and the rear cargo floor, pull back the carpeting, towards the back of the car. This part of the carpeting is held in place with clips attaching the carpet to the cargo floor and is easily pulled away.
2) Pulling this part of the carpeting back far enough will reveal two bolts, one to the right and one to the left. These require a 12mm ratchet extension to remove.
3) Once these bolts are removed, you can completely pull away the carpeting sitting over the tool box by grabbing the handle located on the carpeting and lifting up. **If these bolts are NOT removed, you will only be able to pull back the middle third of the carpeting using the handle and WILL NOT be able to remove the carpeting or the toolbox completely.
4) Next, two black push pins need to be removed. These are located to the right and the left of the toolbox. These pins are removed by sliding something thin (flathead screw driver) underneath them and lifting up to loosen them. Then, they can just be pulled out.
5) Now, the toolbox can be removed completely and underneath, you will see the DVD player on the right! **Remember, both the 2 black push pins and the 2 bolts mentioned must be removed to completely remove the toolbox. If only the 2 pins are removed and not the bolts, only the middle third of the carpeting can be pulled back and hence, only the front of the toolbox can be lifted up, which really doesn't do you much good.
6) As for removing the DVD from the drive, there should be some threads on that that are easily found.
