Was notified by dealer two weeks ago, they have located a RX 450h on a ship heading to the USA. My orginial special was washed away. Should have all equipment except head-up display. Last week in April or forst week in May. Ordered on 21 Jan 2011

Order a 450h in Jan 2011. Told it was washed away. Dealer found a replacement less headup display, and was to be delivered April 27-May 3. Told it is in Newark,NJ awaiting a truck. Newark, NJ is just two hours away from the dealer. For the last week it sits. How can I get a delivery date?

They prep them at Newark before sending them on the trucks. Have you gone to the port and seen all the Toyota/Lexus cars? I went through this awaiting for my 400h when it came out. I waited 14 months altogether back then. My sympathies.

Limodriver, great news. Make sure you post some pics. I waited 4 months for mine so I know how you feel. Too bad the weather is not cooperating this week. Oh well, it gives you time to read the manuals. There will be a quiz
