Was notified by dealer two weeks ago, they have located a RX 450h on a ship heading to the USA. My orginial special was washed away. Should have all equipment except head-up display. Last week in April or forst week in May. Ordered on 21 Jan 2011

 

Ouch! I don't want to even know how many other RXs met that fate Didn't mean to jinx you either. Cars are replaceable though. Sounds like you'll be in yours soon. Good luck.

 

Order a 450h in Jan 2011. Told it was washed away. Dealer found a replacement less headup display, and was to be delivered April 27-May 3. Told it is in Newark,NJ awaiting a truck. Newark, NJ is just two hours away from the dealer. For the last week it sits. How can I get a delivery date?

 

Still waiting. Unit is in Newark for the last two weeks. "Waiting for a delivery truck" Got the vin # but no date when it will be delivered.

 

They prep them at Newark before sending them on the trucks. Have you gone to the port and seen all the Toyota/Lexus cars? I went through this awaiting for my 400h when it came out. I waited 14 months altogether back then. My sympathies.

 

I have my RX 450h and love it. 4 months of waiting, it was worth it.

 

Limodriver, great news. Make sure you post some pics. I waited 4 months for mine so I know how you feel. Too bad the weather is not cooperating this week. Oh well, it gives you time to read the manuals. There will be a quiz Enjoy!
