Points of Interest in Navigation System
I just purchased a 2010 Rx 450h and a 2010 ES 350 both with Navigation.
I am planning a trip from Chicago to New Orleans and was trying to get the system to show hotels along the route. First I set the destination in New Orleans then I went to a new destination and went to POI and the "all hotel" category and "search along route". It came back saying there are no POI's for this category. It did the same thing for every other category I clicked on. I'll be traveling on Interstate 55 so the response from the system doesn't make any sense. Is this a flaw in the system or am I doing something wrong.
I've already booked my hotel so I'm not using this feature because I particularly needed it now, but in my 2005 ACURA MDX finding hotels or restaurants or any other POI along the route was simple.
