Got the call!
Salesman called me yesterday afternoon. My 2010 RX450h Black Sapphire w/ parchment interior has arrived in port. It has to traverse customs, port inspection and pre-delivery installations, but should arrive at the dealer in about 10 days. Ironically, I live in the same city as the port; the dealer is about 90 miles away.
The salesman, in his excited voice, said that I'll be even more pleased with this car. Since we last spoke he had an opportunity to use a number of the options on other vehicles ordered on my car. Heads-up display, Mark Levinson, especially the PCS with radar cruise and the LED headlights. Although he looks forward to delivery, the dealership said they could very easily sell the car for MSRP if I decided to change my mind. Since I ordered the tow package w/hitch and receiver, he promised that it will be ready to connect my boat trailer at delivery time. Am considering a clear bra package; the dealer gave me a competitive price. I'm going to fax all my license, insurance and other data to the dealer so that the all the documents are complete and simply await my signature. (I have little patience for the finance guy wasting my time with things I won't buy)

i remember getting a very similar car for my special order IS F. such a wonderful feeling, knowing the salesman shared the same enthusiasm as i did. sure he was getting a fat commission, but he obviously seemed more interested in the F. judge of character proved i could trust him with my largest purchase so far in life...

Good on ya! Three options I wish I had the persistance and patience to order on my 450h... LED, HUD, and PCS! Enjoy.. I have the same color and love it... though be very careful as it shows the slightest scratch easily.

Delayed gratification is always THE best. How long did your order take?
Placed an order two days ago for a hopeful March delivery-gotta have it before the wife delivers so we will keep our fingers crossed.
Considering the 3M protection as well and was curious of your price.
