Picked up a 08 GS450h yesterday. My first Lexus in 8 years, my GS400 had to be retired due to an accident (semi backed into me at intersection). I put 190k on my GS, and retired at 328k. So I hope my GS450h will last like my GS400 did.
Still trying to figure out options and how the hybrid system works. Holding around 27.6 mpg after the last ~250 miles (yes, that many in 24 hours).
How fast do you deplete the hybrid battery? This car sat for 2 months or more, so the battery hasn't got a lot of use, it is charging, but it does discharge somewhat quickly running battery only when going so. How long can the car "idle" (engine off, power on)? I don't get a lot of time, 10 min or so.

Its the Black Sapphire Pearl color. I don't think I've ever seen it, looks black, but distinctly blue too...

AlexDev here, new 450h owner as of a couple days ago and absolutely in love! It’s an 09 w 60k miles, 1 owner who serviced every 10k miles! Coming from my 04 manual IS300 after 5 years, I made a great choice!

Hello.just found this forum.i just recently purchased a Gs 450h.was kinda skeptical because I was thinking its a hybrid..but boy I was wrong.im definitely in love with this car.and I came here to learn as much as I can,hopefully get some ideas on mods also..
Its an abused 2007 GS 450h with only 225k on the clock that I traded my 2002 Highlander and $800 for. There is a long list of issues. I need to start with a new 12v battery, tires, and some interior cleaner before anything else. This will be my daily driver until my 3 kids graduate college so wish me luck.
Hey guys, Im new here but I bought a Canadian beauty. 160km lol. Im in Florida btw. Unfortunately, outer and inner tie rods were seized so between that and changing all fluids and new tires, $3k later, she rides great as she should. Glad that there is some support for us. This is my first lexus sedan. My wife has an 05 rx330 with 76k that is in immaculate shape but i love my gsh. fast, beautiful, efficient, luxurious and what a smooth ride. Thanks everyone
