Hey guys ! After coming from a ‘10 ls 460 I gotta say I love this car! Just picked it up Monday with 101k miles. Fly in to San Fran from la to get it but i gotta say it was worth it. Took highway 1 back and for driving 10 hours strait up hills curves and long stretches I dont miss the ls as much.

Hello everyone. Don't know if it's still active, I hope it is. My love for Lexus GS range has been rekindled. Many years ago, when I was a boy in my teens, an uncle one day came to my parents home driving a silver lexus gs and he asked on our drive. I was upstairs and looked down at the car, it seemed like the most imposing and executive vehicle is ever laid eyes on. I wanted to drive one, but I knew at that age it would be difficult financially. Forward many years and present day I am a father and more mature, where I live they have imposed not only congestion charge but a ULEZ charge also. I need a car now, for a good fee years I've been using car clubs. It's worked but as I have a family I thought a car is a requirement. So after the endless search for the perfect car I've come across the Lexus GS range again and because of the hybrid engine I'm considering buying one. Am I nuts? What shall I do? The ULEZ exemption is the most important factor but will it make sense efficiency wise? Any comments, experiences or just photos of GS's would be very much appreciated.

??) Just installed a new A1Cardone reman hybrid battery pack, 12v Pannasonic battery and now the OCC seat sensor and module... otherwise, I F'n LOVE IT!!!
AlexDev here, new 450h owner as of a couple days ago and absolutely in love! It’s an 09 w 60k miles, 1 owner who serviced every 10k miles! Coming from my 04 manual IS300 after 5 years, I made a great choice!
Any advice on what to look for as a new owner? Good future mods? Thanks!!
PAUL HERE FROM UK BOUGHT A FACELIFT 08MY back in august 19 cannot believe the power this has, and 33 mpg !
its black with black and standard ........got rear spoiler to go on and wind deflectors ...had to put 1 rear shcok on it other one done by last owner in june , if both had gone i would have gone the coilover route , but thats for later on + alloys etc
Bought a 08 GS450h yesterday. Still trying to figure out options and how the hybrid system works. But at 27.6 mpg for the last 250-300 miles. Its strange on the battery, sometimes it runs up the green (all but one bar), stays in the blue a LOT, but drive on battery only (slow parking lot) and it will get down to 1-2 bars of purple, in a fairly short time.
The car sat for 2+ months on the lot, so guessing it needs to be driven, but not sure how healthy the battery is. 104k miles. But it runs well.
Dealer photos attached, I'll get some good ones once I give it a proper bath.
