I was all set to buy a 2008 400h tomorrow but I'm panicking because I'm not sure I can fit my son's science poster in the cargo space as I've been able to in my boring van.

I really really would like to buy it but I'm afraid it's too small.

I need the back opening dimensions, and width (with rear seats folded) above the tires. I've looked everywhere I can think of (the dealership is too far away to go there) but haven't been able to find this info. Please help!

 

I measured it roughly from lower left to top right is 52" side to side is 45" top to floor 33" these dimensions are at the opening. The length of floor with seat down is 60" that depends on the front seat position.
