I was just wondering how you program the homelink in the RX?

 

homelink comes with a "HOMELINK Owners Manual". do you have one? if not i suggest that you ask your dealer to provide it.

 

I remember having a whale of a time getting the homelink to work. I thought it was defective. I called my garage door manufacturer, read the manual inside out.

In the end the problem was not me but rather my vehicle requiring to be initialized. Perhaps the battery was disconnected in transport and the vehicle was never properely initialized. In any case I took it to the dealer and they initialized my vehicle, took it home and right away I was able to get the homelink to program first shot.
