Default Garage door remote program problem

Have problem to program my 2010 E350 remote after changed my garage opener from Genie to Chamberlain. Tried several times as shown in Lexus' how-to videos, but didn't work. It had no problem at all when I had the car remote programmed to Genie garage opener 2 years ago. Anyone has any idea or suggestions?[/B]

I seem to remember in the past, owners having luck calling the Homelink number for a fix or walk through. It seems like it's probably an easy fix. Is there anything in the owners manual that might help? I usually keep the manual handy when setting up the garage door opener.

It is in the user manual. I used it to set mine up. It's possible that all the buttons are pre-programmed and they need to be cleared first before programming a new garage door opener.

I had a hard time getting mine reprogrammed . I wondered if it was because of the "rolling code" on in the garage. I gave up and use the remotes that come with the unit. I did the same thing with a Cadillac I inherited.

The system works for rolling codes. You need to clear/delete existing codes and park the car as close to the door opener as possible. Then follow the OM and it should work without any problems.
