My dealer is telling me that no orders are being taken or cars being built with the advanced pre-collision system due to a shortage of parts. My choice is to get a car without it or wait at least six more weeks just to order the car. Has anyone else heard this or been able to order or take dekivery of a non-launch edition LS600hl with Advanced pre-collision?

Nope, my salesman just told me the same thing. According to him, the APCS won't be available for the entire 2008 model year except for the Launch Edition.

if i get a chance to see the black ls600hl this week i will take a look

That's what my dealer told me in June, but it's been hard to tell reality from fiction regarding this car.

APCS is only available on the Launch Edition for the first year.

i have to agree. i saw the blk ls600hl today at the dealership again. it doesn't have the driver monitor
