Smile long term parking without starting-GS450h

We anticipate trips from 3 to 6 months long, without our GS450h. What are the options for not starting and running the car for that length of time? Couldn't find a similar question, although assume this is not a first. Thanks

I remember once reading that that could be a possible problem. The car should be at least started once ever few or 4 months.........

Not sure the implications for letting your car sit longer..... maybe battery drain?

Default thanks

Thanks, Jace7,
Appreciate the reply, wish I could get more specifics, like: can I disconnect some cables to prevent discharge, etc. But really don't want to reset all the options that depend on the battery(i.e., seat and other settings)

I let my car sit for a few weeks, then the battery life bar was near purple when I started it for the first time in almost a month...
I think it slowly, and I mean very slowly drains automatically... Maybe b/c my alarm was set and things like that pull from the batteries, who knows....

Why don't you get a trickle battery charger (I believe thats what it is called)? with that you wont have to worry about the battery dieing and losing all your radio stations and such...

He's talking about the hybrid motor batteries. One should not tinker with those under any circumstances!

I suggest a conversation with the dealer's service department.
