Slight jerkiness on highway drive....
Notice this the other night, and it is VERY slight, but it's there.
Seems as if you are driving with some geezer who is pressing the accelerator/lifting slightly/pressing again on and on and on.
Not super jerky as referenced in earlier threads ala manual transmission, but a slightly jerky feeling as you drive at steady speeds down the highway.
Wife drove it 400 miles this weekend and commented about it too. Is this common, or a quirk of the hybrid/cvt, or do we have a problem with this vehicle?

I don't notice anything that I would call lifting/pressing the accelerator activity. Check if it coincides with the power displays on the meter, then ask the dealer. I just don't notice the generator coming on at speed other than to see the display. 2500 miles, don't recall anything when it was newer.

Spoke with a tech today, who is aware of the problem, though it is not prevalent across the country from what he has been told.
Lexus Engineering is aware of it, they call it 'surging' and they are looking into what it may be caused by, and if there is to be a fix anytime soon.

i have the EXACT same problem.. and i noticed it since DAY ONE on my 2k6 400H.. the display shows nothing.. but i can feels it.. seems like the electric kicks in and out.. ( the gas is on all the time)
