About the GS450h
I've been wondering why some magazine I've read from Europe show the GS450h with 292bhp and less torque than what is reported in the US magazines. Are the GSh different from ones from the states? Also, most of the Euro magazines state the GSh from 0-62 at 5.9sec....is that about right compared to the US magazines that have driven the car from 0-60 at 5.2~5.3secs? Just wondering why there is a discrepency in the stated specs. Oh...the magazine is Auto Car...i think it is a UK magazine....
Thanks for any info!
p.s. if this was covered b4...i apologize..i just don't seem to remember if it was stated in a previous post....

0-62mph = 0-100 km/h.
All magazine tests will vary due to ambient weather conditions, car/tire conditions and even testing equipment differences and etc. This is a fact because not all test drivers evaluate/test the car the exact same way.

Well, 292hp is the figure attached strictly to the combustion portion of the engine. 339hp is the rough equivalent when the electric engine is attached, so the UK publications may calculate the power of their hybrid powertrains differently.
Regardless, my parents have a GS450h, I've driven it, and you won't be dissapointed :-).
