Default Replacing Hybrid batteries...

Does anyone know about replacing hybrid batteries with LI-ION type? I have found many articles about Prius owners who replace batteries. How does it work? can we do it for our Lexus?
Please help...

Thanks

I have received an e-mail from HYMOTION indicate they will have a kit for RX400H in 6 months, exactly when I will be in CAL.
Yes, I'm ready to ADD $10K batteries and systems.

My father 40 years ago sold cars in Geneva. his neighbor was selling US cars (with corresponding consumption...) in 1973 , the next day of the crisis he was obliged to return all his cars to US and the company crash.
My father is now 73 and he told me recently : "Frank this will happen again with the same surprise".
The difference will be the one's on the road, and the one's off the road
Remember the "gas car"(in europe of course) during 2nd WW.

Owned a RX400H is looking ahead the future.
I also can imagine to take away the full gas engine system and replace all by (future) batteries if necessary

i believe if you switch the batteries...u can get better milage since those batteries are far better...so you can drive longer on batteries than the N/A engine...

Default I don't see the economy of spending...

between $8,000-$12,000 for a small increase in performance and charge life. You would not be able to eliminate the gas engine this way either. After 100,000 miles or 8 years elapses then battery technology will probably be even more advanced as more experience and research will be utilized. There is a mini/hybrid prototype in Britain that has four electric motors, one at each wheel. It has a small gas engine just to charge the battery. It can be plugged in or driven like a hybrid to charge it. It uses the motor/generators only for braking as there are no friction brakes. It develops 600 HP! It is AWD and romps to 60 MPH in 4 seconds. It has ABS for braking or acceleration. I want one, don't you? This is a glimpse of the future. Cars will more and more use electric motors and batteries or hydrogen fuel cells to create electricity. The hybrid solved the problem of extended range however plug-ins are now capable of 250 miles due to Lithium Ion batteries. ( Tesla @ $100,000 )
