Default Rattle in chassis under left rear door

Hello RX400h owners. Has anyone had a rattlle/pop under the car below the left rear door? I took mine into the dealer twice now and they have not been able to solve the problem. Both times, the removed the interior trim panels and outside rocker trim panel and sent it to the body shop to get a weld? repaired. Any input would be appreciated.

Not really happening in mine if you talking about driving without any music.

But I notice all RX models, regardless its production year, have proble with music loaded with base sounds. One day I tested all RX models (300, 330, 350, 400) at dealer for a few times (I was bored and the salesman was a budy), and noticed the front doors in all models, hamanic easily with base sounds and causing some rattling noise (possibly from some plastic clips).

Mine seems to be coming from the battery compartment under the rear seat. At 60-65mph is sounds like a tin baking sheet is rattling. Of course, it wouldn't rattle for the dealer.

Default Ever track down the Source of the Rattle?

My 2006 400h also has same rattle like a tin baking sheet loudest near rear passenger door at highway speeds (above 65mph). It comes and goes, and at first I thought it was engine knock but have sufficiently tested that theory to determine it's not. With the hybrid warranty due to expire in about 6k miles, I was wondering if you ever determined your rattling issue?

I have had that same annoying rattle since I purchased my 400x about a year ago...I have punched, poked and banged but to no avail....Yesterday, I spoke with a mechanic and when I mentioned my problem he replied it is more than likely in the jack/tool compartment under the rear mat......
I did some adjusting and placed some foam rubber in the compartment and that ALMOST fixed it.....A slight rattle now that Iam sure is that plastic compartment that the jack and tools sit in.... An easy fix tomorrow.............John
