The popping noise occurs when going over bumps, turning into a driveway that torques the car and sounds like it is comes from various places at different time--the right rear, the right doors, the front right pillar or the roof.

I have a 2014 and had the same sounds on the left side. I followed Corradomr2's thread on how to felt tape a lot of the panels/doors. I also removed the rear quarter panel that houses the backseat seat belt and felted the contact points. In my situation it was a couple of loose retainer clips in the door and also the plastic panels clicking against each other.
I also had a rattle that seemed to be from the roof. Taking off the grab handle and felting it up solved it. If you get a panel removal kit from Amazon it'll make things easier. Corradomr2's compete thread was so much more helpful than the dealership. It takes time and patience for all the steps but it is well worth it.
