Default I Did It!

I finally did it. I have wanted the 400h ever since it was announced, even though I couldn't justify trading my 04 RX330, but finally wnet to the Lexus dealer Tuesday, and traded the 330.

They had a Bamboo Pearl on the showroom floor with all of the options that I wanted, including the wood trim, so it is now mine, and I will pick it up on May 23rd when I return from vacation. Got a $2,000 repeat customer discount, so I am pleased with both the trade ($28,500) and the discount.

More to come after I have driven it.

Ok, have had it for almost 1 week. It's much quieter than the RX330, and has many way kool features, such as voice recognition, The changed instrument panel is much better, but there are still things that I wish were availble.
1. No Variable Laser Cruise Control available.
2. Only black dashboard, even with wood trim w/Ivory.
3. Standard radio not satellite ready.

Other than these minor items, the car is flawless. Puts the RX330 to shame.

How would you describe Bamboo pearl? It looks almost silver-like at certain angles in the brochure, but then looks tan when light hits it.

I want a silver-like color but want the ivory interior so I can get the wood but the ivory interior is not available with the millenium silver metallic.

Any help on how you would describe the bamboo pearl color would be appreciated

It's basically silver with a very very slight hint of light green. Hmm....look at Silver Pine Mica at a Toyota showroom and add more silver.
