Default Sirius Radio

Ok i've been searching the boards and i really can't find an answer to my question. Is their a factory install for Sirius Radio for the 400h yet? Lexus parts says no but they also told me i couldn't put Sirius in my IS and guess what i just pre-ordered it. So any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ken

My 400h has a sirius that's integrated into the sound system. Don't know if its a factory unit or a dealer unit, it came pre-installed when I picked up the truck last month. Included 9 months of service.

IMHO, XM has better programming unless of course you want to listen to Stern.

So you can read it through your Nav unit? How do you change the channels?

Thanks for the info. Had XM for about a year got bored of it and tried Sirius seems to be much better for me.

Thanks,

Ken

Hrmm now i need to find a place to order it from. The Dealer in Oregon told me they don't exist and lexus-parts.com doesn't show them either.

Does anyone know where i can pick one up?

Thanks,

Ken

No it doesn't work through the NAV unit. Pressing the AM button cycles through AM, SAT1, SAT2, and SAT3. The sat channel and now-playing are shown on the radio LCD. My salesman said that the dealership is owned by a big investor in Sirius which is why they installed the radio and free 9 months service.

I'm not all that impressed with it. Now the that the trees are starting to have leaves here in the northest, I lose signal all the time on secondary roads.

Call Sirius and activate. Sit in an area with good signal and you'll see the radio refresh/update and then your problem will be fixed. Hopefully it has been fixed by now. I see you posted this over a month ago.
