In the black dashboard photo you can see a line on the passenger side where the airbag would be. But on the gas-powered LS there is no visible line for the airbag. I wonder what this line is for?

 

For the airbag I suppose, remember those are not production cars, so there may not even be airbags on the dash of the gasoline model we saw ?

One can probably bet that the first ones to buy the LS 600h L will be someone from Mercedes and someone from BMW so they can examine it, take it apart and study it. It's like the fall of 1989 all over again. Way to go Lexus. I'm very proud to own and drive a Lexus.

Yeah thats too bad. I asked our product planner about blackwood w/an all black inerior, as they were studying the color combinations, the felt that the combo made the interior look boring and unluxurious, which is why an all blackwood w/black interior has not been an option to date. I wish they would think otherwise.

I wish they would allow you to pick whatever wood trim color you like to match your leather for factory order cars just like the S class & the 7 series.

and about the headlights, after seeing all the pics, i think the lens is different on the sl600hl than the ls460. the 460 one is flat, but the 600hl one bulk out where the led lights are, kinda similar to the 2006 sc430 headlights compared to previous yrs

overall shape though, i compared but couldn't really tell. i am still doubting about the connections in the back

 

Man trust me, black is the sickest look around! I dont know if you have seen it, but there is a ebony lacquer option for the Range Rover and jesus christ its so dark and shiny!! I love that package.

I think this car is going to make a BIG splash in the marketplace.

 

How come the GS430 has memory setting for the passenger, and not the LS460?
