Does anyone know of plans by any companies to make them for the RX400h? I currently have Eibach lowering springs installed, and the ride comfort leaves something to be desired. Thanks!
Eibach makes springs for RX400h? Is that very new?
They are for the RX330, but it works fine. I figure they are stiffer, so that should work fine, since the RX400h springs are stiffer than the stock RX330 springs I believe (since the RX400 is slightly heavier).
Given the RX400h is about 300 LB heavier than the RX330, and the weight distribution nature is different, I think the spring rate plays a big road in your complaint abou the ride quality. Yes, compare the stock rate, the RX330 OEM springs should be softer than the Eibachs. But now you are pushing more weight down on the already shortened spring, so your RX400h's shocks are working even harder.
Tein has a electronic suspension called "Hybrid" I think. It's available on Alphard but I heard that it's very stiff, and you have to stop the car to adjust the ride height -- not sure about air spring rate. They may make it for the RX/Harrier but don't hold your breath.
