Default 36/30000 Maintenance?

Any idea how much to expect this service to cost at a Lexus Dealer? Have used what I thought was a trusted mechanic for years who I do not consider trusted anymore! They managed to screw up the installation of a timing belt on my daughter’s Honda Pilot so the trust is gone. Have not used a dealer for anything other than warranty work in probably the last 20 years. Thx.

I suggest you call your local dealer and ask the service department. My dealer has set pricing for the recommended service interval work. Just give them your model, year and mileage. Ask for the cost of the recommended service for your mileage and what is consists of. Compare that to your owners manual and tell them unless something is broken, you just want the price for what is listed in the owner's manual. I have not hit 30k yet, still in the low 20k range.

I had my 2020 RX450h 30,000 mile service done today. Although I have a little less than 22,000 miles on it. The service cost was $525 plus tax.

My dealer has quoted me $789 for the 36mo service. 36mo will be next mo but with only 21000 miles I am going to push it until after the first of the year when I will also need new tires.

What did they do to justify that almost $800 fee?
It appears it would only involve an oil and filter change, change air filter and cabin air filter, maybe change brake fluid, check engine and hybrid system operation, check brakes, suspension etc, rotate tires, maybe new wipers.

That's a rip off for basically doing an oil change.

Can someone list the basic 36,000 mile services.
I change my own air and cabin filters, oil changes.
not much else to do but tire rotation and wiper blades.

any other DIY’s I should think of doing, lube/corrosionx anything?
clean anything?
Condition anything?
I keep her looking like new. Inside and out!

love my 2020 Lexus 15,500 miles like new!
