New Owner with 1st Question
Patrick
The receivers are at the back of the back seats in reach of the four straps [the seats should not be folded and slid back all the way ... obvious but stating here for completeness]. There is enough slack but you can figure that out.
The 4 posts/snaps have little tabs to snap on to the flat of the D loops. E D (my pictograph turned 90degrees]. Both the D and the fangs of the E may be worn out.
Alternative to replacement are use of magnets/velcro.
Personal comment: the rear cargo cover is hardly used by me and most of the time I have to remove it to carry stuff, but I keep it in the vehicle. I bet most owners have it stashed at home.

We use our cargo cover a lot in the RX 350 and expect to do the same with the new car. It will remain in the car 99% of the time.
I appreciate your baseline suggestions. I don't think we will need it but open to your continued suggestions. We have the CAR FAX for our new jewel. She was serviced at a Lexus dealership. I see regular oil filter changes along with 5K, 10K, 20K, 30K, 50K, 70K & 80K service's performed at the same Lexus dealership. We shopped around until we saw what we thought was the right car and with no hesitation, pulled the trigger and bought her. No remorse.
Now we need to learn more about operation and maintenance that will provide years of ownership with minimal problems,
My suggestion would be to visit the local Lexus parts and ask the parts sales counter to take a look. They should be bale to order the clips for you. You can also visit salvage yards.

2013-2015 model year cargo covers unfortunately didn’t include the flap extension w/ the clips and therefor the seats also didn't include the clip receivers. Which means 2013-2015 models years have a gap in coverage! Idk why they did away with it.. probably cost. But it’s always irked me.
I find that carrying a black bedsheet allows me to cover my cargo when I need to (which is very seldom) and leaves the cargo area open the rest of the time.
