Default Computer controlled electric water pump are amazing

I just noticed the 350h can get from cold start to optimal engine temperature for about a minute. That's amazing compared to belt driven water pump, usually takes 6, 7 minutes. I'm in California. If you are in cold states, it should make you extremely happy?

The hybrid powertrain is an engineering masterpiece. I've watched the Weber and Car Care Nut videos covering all the different aspects and am blown away at what Toyota/Lexus has accomplished.

My 350h takes maybe 3-4 minutes to get to full operating temp. The speed limiit when leaving my driveway is 30 mph so it gets warmed up gently.

I live in Florida but it is still very nice to have heat so quickly.

What? I've been in FL in winter months and didn't need heat.
