Default RX350H HV Battery Cooling Intake Filter inspection?

I have a 2024 RX350h on order. Expected next month. I have downloaded all the manuals and also looked at the maintenance intervals. It is now every 6 months/5000 miles to bring car in for service. Most of the mid year service is inspections and tire rotation; there is one called "Inspect HV Battery Cooling Intake Filter (Clean if necessary.)" Does anyone know how to do this or how necessary this inspection is. Not looking forward to taking the car in every 6 months to have a bunch of expensive inspections done, that I can do myself.

If this and a bunch others are to be believed, it looks simple.

It is very simple. It is by each side of rear seat. See the manual.

It's on page 498 of the manual.

Our filters stay VERY clean but we don't have kids or pets who ride in the back seat area...

(Yes, I DID check them before our 5000 mile service, just to get an idea)

Unless you are in a very dusty area, once a year is probably fine for battery filter cleaning. What I do monthly is take my shop vac with the small round brush and gently vacuum the battery vents from the outside. No disassembly, very easy.

Thanks for all the info. Just picked up my RX350h yesterday, after waiting about 2 months for it to arrive. Based on all the responses and reading the manual and service intervals, I realized that the mid year services are only inspections I can do myself plus a tire rotation. But I will only need the rotations at the yearly services since being retired means I don't drive all that much.
