I hope that is for initial satisfaction, because bmw has the highest maintenance costs of any brand.

Is tesla actually a luxury brand? Plethora of reviewers and owners (YouTube, et al) make strong cases why it's not. I always assumed it was until I began seeing all these claims appear. I have no idea. Never owned one. Just asking.

 

One of these depends on who you ask. JD Power has them in initial quality next to last place only beating Polestar. That looks at vehicles at the 3-month mark. In dependability which looks at cars at the 3-year mark they're 28th out of 32. They're shoddy workmanship quality control issues I say they're definitely not a luxury car brand. Their vehicles except for the model S are extremely boring looking and worse inside. My PPF installer the best had a Model Y in his shop. He has of course incredible lighting. He showed me the horrible paint job. He said most of the blemishes were dirt under the paint. My comment was Friday afternoon build and he said does five a week and every one is just like this one.
