Towing with RX 350h
I wonder if anyone has towed anything heavy with RX350h.
I'm considering it, but we tow a camper few times a year. It's just below the 3500lb.
Our current RX350 gas with the V6 can tow it without engine hesitating, but i would like to know how the 2.5L 4 cylinder does with towing that...

I assume you have the optional tow package: If so you can tow 3500 lbs.
Lexus RX 350 towing package, includes a heavy-duty radiator and cooling fan, along with engine and transmission oil coolers
If not, its significantly less.

I know on the paper the vehicle is capable to tow 3500lb since all RXs destined to Canada come with Tow prep, but I would like to hear real work feedback.
I had a Venza that was rated for 2500lb for towing, but it really struggled to tow anything over 2000.

That's interesting. US versions have the tow package as a $160.00 option. I wish they just put it all their cars like the Canadian market cars. It would probably help with our hot summers. Very few of US allocated cars come with this option. Sorry a can't help with your question. If you do a lot of towing, the 500h I'm sure would do a better job.
Does anyone have any experience towing a heavier (3000-3500 lb) with RX 350h?
I wonder how the relatively small 4 cylinder does towing anything in the upper limits of its towing limits.

I think there is a difference between towing and moving.
Are you are talking about moving a trailer cross town for a few miles? or actually towing a 3500lb trailer on a routine basis over extended periods of time? I assume the latter.
I have never seen any RX from any model year tow a trailer even for just a few miles. However, I am sure it has been done on some rare occasions. I would be curious to hear an answer as well.

I have a camping trailer about 3100 lb. I have been towing it with our 2016 RX 350 no problem. Typically we go on trips about 200-800 km (125-500 miles).
That V6 hums along and works in the 2000-3500 RPM range usually.
Want to try that with the 24 RX 350h this year. Same towing capacity by the specifications.....
Not sure how it will be in real world though.
