Help...used armorall on dash/left streaks
I think my lexus hs250 dashboard may actually be leather...thought it was vinyl and used armorall. Dows anyone know how to clean it off? Hopefully I didn't permanently damage the dash

Most of It is vinyl. Those little strips on either side of the console are leather as is part of the steering wheel. However most car leather (seats) has a polyurethane coating and acts more like vinyl than leather. That is why leather treatments are a waste of time on cars and most car trim treatments say use on both vinyl and leather.
Get some auto interior cleaner or cleaner wipes and that will remove the Armorall. I know Mequiars makes some. What is the problem? Too shiny (Armorall is pretty greasy) or streaky? If streaky you need to apply more and rub more with microfiber towels to even it out. Also when cleaning you must use microfiber towels to get a nice even finish. Then use Aerospace 303 car protectant instead as it leaves a nice matte finish and has UV protection.

Thank you, Clutchless! It left streaks but in some areas almost looks whitish like it's corroded in the short time the armoral was on there. Hopefully it is just residue. I will try your suggestions!
