Michelin tires for 18 wheels
I just wanted to give everybody a heads up. Michelin has introduced the Premier A/S in a 225/45R18 size:

I have the 17 inch version of the Premier A/S on my Camry and found them really good in rainy areas like the PNW. They also have pretty decent snow traction so they can be used as a four season tire in areas with low snowfall totals. Ice traction is surprisingly good for an all season tire. That being said, if you live in Detroit or Chicago, they will not work as a replacement for dedicated winter tires. Thus, they are a really nice option for folks like me who want a softer rider over W rated speed tires but still want/need good tire life. Plus, they are manufactured in the USA. On a side note, my local Discount Tire says that they are an order only item with three days lead time. They also report that the Michelin has started to phase out the Primacy MXM4 in certain low volume sizes. So, if you prefer the MXM4, you might want to get them before the end of the summer when tooling is switched over to the newer models.
