Osram Night Breaker Plus low beam bulbs
Bought my used 2011 HS250h last week. Shocked at how dim the low beams were. I had a pair of Osram Night Breaker Plus H11 bulbs that I never got around to installing in the CT200h I traded in so I put them in. Took 10 minutes, 5 of which were removing the plastic engine cover. Huge difference! Can see twice as far down the road and much brighter white lite. I highly recommend them. I got them from Powerbulbs dot com. Amazon or eBay may sell them.
The reason I did not install them in the CT was right after I ordered them I learned about the H11 to H9 bulb conversion that is mentioned on many forums. I got the Bulbzilla adapter harness that plugs right in and all you have to do is clip off a corner of the middle metal tab on the H11 bulbs to make them fit into the socket. They are even brighter than the Osram Night Breakers. I forgot and left the Bulbzilla harness in the CT when I traded it!

All these bulbs have a shorter life than regular bulbs. However the Night Breakers are about $35-each. The Bulbzilla harness about $30 but lasts forever and regular H9 bulbs are available from Amazon for around $10 each! I ran H9s for 2 years, one bulb burnt out after a year and the other was fine when I traded it in. I plan to get the Bulbzilla in a few months and be prepared for when the Night Breakers fail.
