Hi all. Was out shopping and dinner with the little family last night, wanted to show daughter how the nav map system worked so I set home as destination. Half way home we wanted to turn off the nav. everything we tried did not stop it., pressed "off" on every screen that came up, closed the screen, etc. still gave us directions till we got home...Very annoying!!

How do you stop the nav??

Once it's begun navigating, to get it to stop, I just go to "menu", "destination", "delete destination".

 

Or simply push the talk switch and say "delete next destination". Depending on your prompts, you may have to push the talk switch twice before saying it though. (once to talk, second time to interrupt the voice menu prompt).
