Default Production Restarted?

Does anyone know when actual production of the HS250 will restart, or has that already taken place? And/or when can we expect the next shipment of cars from Japan? My two local dealerships seem to be unable to get answers. Thanks.

When I bought mine 2 months ago my dealer said until they fix the Lexus plant in (Fukushima?) then they will restart the production here ... Not sure the exact date though. But hey feels pretty nice to have a car that is very limited right now (in San Diego) .

So I understand. Just wish I knew when 2012s might be here. Getting impatient.

He even showed me his car inventory on his computer for incoming models.. Alot of CT's but HS is definitely not on the list for anywhere in SD. The LAME thing is, is that the area in SD where I live, after I got my HS a couple weeks later I saw 3 more on my streets. I don't know the people but 2 with the same color as mine (the silver opal), and one black one.

Need.To.Fix.Up.My.Car.First.. haha jk.

Mr. RJQMAN, you seem to be in the same boat as me. A slow boat from Japan, that is.

They're coming and it shouldn't be too much longer, I hope for our sake.

Actually, the HS and CT are made here in southern Japan. Largely unaffected by the tsunami.

For kicks, I looked up the value of my 2010 HS premium, no options, 20k miles on kbb.com. $36K trade-in! That's more than I paid for it, and I bought it before all the recalls / rebates hit last summer.

Almost tempted me to sell it. Almost.
